Learn about stroke in Finland (Event in Finnish)

HELSINKI, Finland—Oct. 6, 2013--Approximately 14,000 people a year in Finland suffer a cerebrovascular accident, commonly known as a stroke. An information event on stroke has been arranged on Tuesday, 8th October at 5 -7 p.m. in the Visitors' Centre of the Little Parliament (street address Arkadiankatu 3).

The event will be opened by Mr. Pertti Salolainen, MP and chairman of Afasia-säätiö (the Finnish Foundation for Aphasia). Presentations will be given by: Professor Markku Kaste, Managing Director Heidi Eloranta and Researcher Henri Hannula. Mr Hannula (Nexstim Oy) will make a presentation on navigated brain stimulation therapy in stroke.

Note: The presentations and discussion will be in Finnish.
